Is the weight capacity the same?
Indeed! Both platform lifts have the capacity to support up to 750 lbs, making the Highlander II and the VPL400-X suitable for use with nearly any powerchair, manual wheelchair, or scooter.
Can the VPL400-X extend higher than the 53”?
The VPL400-X was specifically crafted for shorter distances and a more straightforward installation process. If your lifting requirements exceed 53 inches, we recommend considering our Highlander II. While both models provide similar functionality, the Highlander II offers a broader array of options and features, coupled with a diverse range of heights that can be matched with various platform dimensions.
